A beautiful place with beautiful staff, amazing food and first class service.  It was my daughter&#39;s 40th birthday so we wanted something a little special and oh my, did they deliver. What a perfect evening.

My favorite restaurant. Dined there 2 outta 4 nights. The duck, escargot, and truffle ravioli are fantastic. The Tigre beef is a fan favorite

This was a surprising find just above Sarlat! What an incredible view and the food, wine as well as the service was amazing!

This was a wonderful meal from start to finish! The Bergerac white wine paired perfectly with our dishes. Our starters, foie gras for me and sweetbreads in an amazing mushroom casserole for my husband, were delicious. We both had the sea bass for the main course and it too was delicious. The desserts were beautifully presented and tasty, but we couldn&rsquo;t finish them after all the great food that came before. Excellent, attentive service. No rushing. A beautiful evening! I am so happy I had my first meal in Sarlat here. It was excellent. I opted for a three course with a beautiful crostini with salad to start, a lovely salmon with a nice sauce for the main, and a scrumptious berry dessert to finish. Everything was excellent. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant - such an unusual setting, and so very relaxed.  The staff were superb, and the food some of the best we had on our holiday.  We highly commend Lo Gorissado for the quality of food, service and ambience.

Le Moulin du Roc is in an idyllic position on a pretty river. We were entertained by dancing damsel flies, the ones Rossetti describes as &lsquo;like a blue thread loosened from the sky&rsquo;, and a passing kingfisher zooming up and down. The service is professional and friendly; our waitress who did an impeccable job also advised me on how to germinate acer seeds!As for the food, it is classic French haute cuisine with imaginative details; strawberries with pea mousse, and savoury sorbets, for example. Everything delicious and attractively presented.Can&rsquo;t wait till the next time.

Food is great, but last night they were not paying attention. At first they couldn&rsquo;t find my reservation. They forgot my coke and I had to ask a second time. No biggie. Then they forgot the mozzarella on my pizza. I had to send it back to get it. Then my husband and I got dessert, a waffle to split, and they forgot the cr&egrave;me chantilly.They made no attempt to make this right. Which is disappointing because their food is excellent and in 4 years of being a loyal customer this was my first bad experience. But when you repeatedly mess up, you should try to be commer&ccedil;ant.

A special treat, excellence on all parts. A great place for a solo-traveler to enjoy a peaceful evening in the Dordogne valley area. The service was also excellent and the Bordeaux rouge and filet hit the spot after a day exploring the grottes.

Outstanding restaurant - quality of food was  simply amazing as were the pairing wines.  Attentive, knowledgeable waiting staff ensured a relaxed and friendly experience.  Food was beautifully presented and  every course was totally delicious.  This was great value for money too .  We wish we had discovered this restaurant sooner!

Great place. Lovely young family have only owned it for just over a year. They are doing an amazing job. So happy to have a great Indian restaurant in Sarlat. Ambiance and food great. Went for Valentines Night. They had decorated restaurant with red balloons and had a romantic playlist showing on a large screen. Obviously made an effort for this occasion. They were very busy as they had lots of last minute bookings so we&rsquo;re a bit stretched on the service timings. I think this is not usual and normally the service will be quick and relaxed. Highly recommended
