At that time, Britain did not have a prime minister, and the Chancellor of the Exchequer was the leader of the British government. The post of Prime Minister was only established in 1937 after the passage of the King's Ministers Act, and since then 10 Downing Street has become the residence of the Prime Minister. In addition to the residence of the Prime Minister, various ministries of the British government have gathered around Downing Street. The prime minister's residence has guards guarding and iron railing gates to block tourists, but the guards are not only fierce, but also cooperate with tourists to take pictures, which also reflects the side of the prime minister's residence and the people.

I went to No. 10 Downing Street once in my student days, and there was a fence with the Prime Minister's Office. Now the family has been separated by two fences for the second time in London and there are security piles. It seems that the alert has been strengthened everywhere after 911. Nothing else has changed. There are several ministerial units next to it. Someone has passed security checks and entered the interior of 10 Downing Street.
