Baitashan Park is located on the north bank of the Yellow River in Lanzhou City. It is named after the Yuan Dynasty Baita Mountain. Baita was originally built in memory of a Tibetan Sakya Lama who died in Lanzhou in order to visit Genghis Khan in Mongolia. The existing Baita was rebuilt during the Ming Jingtai period (1450-1456), and the town guard Liu Yongcheng, the internal supervisor of Gansu, was rebuilt. In the year of Qing Kangxi, the inspector of the Qiqi supplemented the old and added new, expanded the temple site, named "Ci'en Temple" white tower body seven levels and eight sides, about 17 meters high, built a round base, on the green roof, each side carved Buddha statue, the horn of the iron horsebell. The outside of the tower is coated with white pulp, such as white jade. Baita Mountain was opened as a park in 1958, divided into three buildings, built on the mountain, moth red cinnamon, uneven, each building is connected by the pavilion and corridor, extending in all directions.
