The castle was built by the Order of Rhode Island in the 15th century, nicknamed St. Peter's Castle. By the time of Suleiman the Great, the Ottoman Empire was expanding and the borders were gone, and the castle gradually lost its important status. In 1895, it was converted into a prison, where more than 700 prisoners were held. Now it is valued as the world's number one museum of wrecked ships, and it offers a complete view of Bodrum.

Arrive at St. Peter's Castle in Bokrum and look out, the sky is blue and the sea is bluer. The interior of the castle is staggered, the courtyard is blooming, and the children's shoes that like the castle must not be missed. A medieval Bodrum castle guards the entrance to the blue-bodied bay, which is the dividing line between the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea. As you look up at the castle, the scenery of the Aegean Sea is breathtaking and beautiful.

A beautiful town. A beautiful castle. I don’t know if it’s the first time I entered the castle. It’s big and it’s a museum. The city wall is beautiful. The sea is too blue. I have been thinking about it when I come back.
