东林寺是佛教重要寺庙，净土宗的祖庭，大佛在很远的地方就能看见，去庐山的推荐去这里看看，门票免费，里面潜心修佛，没有人会让你捐款，全凭自愿，进去参观也没有门票，山脚下有很多庙宇，很多菩萨和罗汉，非常全面，如果想看大佛可以上山，走上去的话请走石阶，把木阶留给僧人，怕晒可以走左边的廊道。半山腰还有免费求签的地方。

东林寺建于东晋384年，为庐山上历史悠久的寺院之一。东林寺是佛教净土宗的发源地。
