Drum Tower Review

The Drum Tower is located in the Drum Tower District, Kaifeng City, Henan Province, in the north of the back door of Daxiangyu Temple. The buildings of the Drum Tower are relatively large. The surrounding area is a food court. There are more guests in the evening.

Kaifeng Drum Tower was built in Minghongwu 12 years (1379). The Bell Tower is in the location of the original Drum Tower in today's Drum Tower Square. The Drum Tower is in front of the "Demolition Gate", which is the front of the West Street Eye Hospital of the provincial capital. The location leads to the Yingbin intersection. It is symmetrical. On a line, it is very majestic and neat. It is one of the landmark buildings that condensed the wisdom of the ancient working people. The eight characters "sound and earthquake" and "no far-flung" hung on the drum floor, each about 1 meter square, all are the book, very strong. Among them, "sound earthquake in the sky" 4 big words, more home and abroad calligraphers praised, and the Drum Tower enjoys a prestigious reputation.
