It is not very big to tell about the incident in the late 1950s and the dark history of the Nazi period, but it is worth a visit to friends who are interested in that period. In addition, you have to book tickets in advance or you have to queue up.

This is a chilling recollection of one person’s history in Hungary and Europe. The exhibition is very compact, with a variety of visual and auditory experiences, and different settings in a variety of different rooms, which are memorable. Unfortunately, my visit was a little rushed because of the lack of time, but definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful building with a sad history. The exhibition rooms have somber music to provide ambiance for the recounting of life under soviet rule. The exhibitions are a mixture of visuals and audio of locals from villages sharing their experiences, video footage and clothes from the time, rooms which were left as they were from when the basement of the building was used as a prison. There is also a very impressive tank on display in the foyer. Definitely worth a visit.
