Ketchikan Review

Ketchikan is sometimes referred to as Alaska’s first city. It is a common port for Alaskan cruises, and there are some walking trails and entertainment near the cruise ship terminal. We walked to Creek Street, which has a lot of shops and some cafes and restaurants serving local eats (e.g. crab, salmon, reindeer jerky). A popular attraction is the Alaskan Lumberjack show. It was pouring rain while we were there, but that’s typical Alaskan weather, so wearing layers and waterproof clothing and shoes are important for this excursion.

I was mainly swimming for salmon at the first stop on the Princess Cruise Alaska route. In mid-August, there were a lot of salmon upstream to the place where I was born. In order to reproduce the next generation, the fish's life was really hard.

Ketchkan may come to play more people in summer and autumn, because the scenery is the most beautiful and colorful, but winter to come here, no matter how inappropriate, you have to come and see, the scenery is very good place.

Seeing a lot of boats, there should be a lot of corn, are these places with high GDP?

Alaska, USA, is half golden in autumn, the other half is still the world of silver all year round. Alaska Ketchkan is known as the "world's salmon capital", come here to eat nothing, only salmon you have to taste; Alaska snow dog is its feature, winter it is a substitute tool; here the seaplane also has a characteristic cheek, maybe some time it is a means of life-saving.

Come to the Cagekan, known as the "world's salmon capital", stand on the deck, and the whole city under the blue sky in the morning is peacefully located! The scenery of the pier here is still very good and there are fresh seafood fish caught on the spot. The countless salmon swam in the river in the town, and you can see the sight of bear catching salmon.
