Most of the construction of the Pujue Temple in Guangming Mountain is based on the central north-south axis and was built by reference to the buildings of southern China in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The temple architecture has the architectural characteristics of ancient Chinese palaces, which are regarded as classic examples with the magnificent roof and the combination of architecture and reliefs. Due to the influence of traditional folk culture and religion, the temple can see ceramic statues and relief walls such as flying sky, dragon, lion.

The Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery at Bright Hill Road is the largest Buddhist monastery of the Mahayana tradition, Chan “Zen” school in Singapore. Its sprawling grounds and large prayer halls are open to visitors who wish to explore respectfully its premises to better understand Buddhism and spend time in quiet reflection or meditation.
