Langa Township Review

This is a side that looks cut out in Cape Town. For me, it is an eye-opening experience looking at the challenges and challenges of daily life in a Tatar town, 22 years after 1994 officially declared an end to apartheid. He then drove us to our guide and Gladstone Cayalisha small stew pot and two townships. We visited the community center showing all the positive work and energy to provide for maternity, child nutrition & health, educating women, extracurricular activities and children in the community. The small stew pot and the center of Cayalisha are very good is an excellent operation and for every participation in this resource. Very strong sense of community is that everyone takes care of another township. Gladstone also drove us through the former blush area of Cape Town and arranged for us a history lesson in the experience of deleting the apartheid faced when forced evictions from the homes of these towns in Cape Town a few miles away from the city attractions, Losing their homes and valuables. He grew up in a temple with a small pot and connected to the town was still very good. In my opinion, a city and town tour is a must when traveling in Cape Town I highly recommend going as a guide. **You will have the opportunity to purchase gifts of beautiful art and generate community centers for women and children with direct proceeds to the township.

The Langa favela is an experience on the other side of Cape Town, with rudimentary homes along the left and right sides, and inadequate sanitation facilities.

Founded in 1927, the town of Langa has been nearly a hundred years old, and in a hundred years, it has witnessed many major events related to race, independence and resistance, and the landmarks are more important than anything!

Very emotional first visit to a township. We were entertained by amazingly talented young people, I would definitely recommend a visit if your in Cape Town.

I visited Langa on a tour organised by my hostel. It was a tour, which made it less authentic, but was conducted by a resident of Langa and seemed the only sensible option for a woman travelling alone. Langa is a huge township close to Cape Town's airport. It certainly opened my eyes and gave me some insight into the way that many people have been forced to live in Cape Town, and elsewhere, due to Apartheid. I was glad I visited, as it was interesting to see and showed that Cape Town is more than just what is portrayed in the glossy honeymoon brochures.
