Colorful Falls is part of Maotai Forest Reserve, covering most of the plants in the forest park, most of which have high economic value, and can see small fauna such as Siam Rabbit, about an hour and a half drive from Chiang Mai.

"Bua Tong Waterfall" in Bua Tong Waterfall National Park (Si Chet Colors Fountain), white limestone waterfall, a long way, almost 200 meters, there are 3 floors cascading together. Suitable for climbing and swimming (not slippery, comfortable to walk, there are ropes to catch and pull along the way), not too far from Chiang Mai city, only 52km (about 1 hour travel), the route is easy and comfortable. The paved road to the park "Bua Tong Waterfall" Mae Ho Phra Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai

Really fun and easy to get toThe waterfalls themselves were super fun, climbing up and down feeling like spider man. There''s lockers at the top where you can pay 20 bhat to leave all your stuff- then just go down in clothes you don''t mind getting soaked- as you will get wet, but all part of the fun. There is also a bus which you can get from Chang Phuak bus terminal (1km from the old town) that will drop you off 3km from the waterfalls which is an easy walk (just ask the information lady at the terminal which bus to head for) and then you can get the bus back to Chiang Mai from the same spot. It cost 80 bhat for my partner and I for one way- lots cheaper than the 1000+ bhat that many were paying for private taxi- especially if you''re budget conscious. The bus takes about 1.5 hours- hope this helps- enjoy!!

Also called Sticky Falls. You can go back to the waterfall barefoot. Children can also be cheap!!
