National Gallery Review

The Foreign Art Gallery is the National Art Gallery in Alexander Nevsky Square, the central institution for the study of foreign art in Bulgaria. The building where the Art Gallery is located is the former Royal Printing Office, a 19th century neoclassical attention-grabbing building. Founded on November 5, 1985, the museum is spread across 19 halls on the 4th floor. Long-term exhibitions include European, Asian (Buddhist art, Japan and India) and African art, as well as contemporary art and sculpture art. Due to limited space, many collections are not displayed.
