Nantian Island, also known as Niutoushan Island, is located 3 kilometers south of Shipu Town, adjacent to Gaotang Island in the west. The mainland shoreline of the two islands constitutes a natural harbor pool. The sea water became turbid [caused by the wind and waves rolling up the sea sand].
