The most flashy bridge over Seine in Paris is the bridge, but it is one of my favorite bridges because it spans the road leading to Invalides.

The Alexander III Bridge was completed in 1900 and is a 107-meter-long bridge consisting of a bridge arch, which is lower to not affect the view of the Champs Elysees and the Invalides. As a symbol of the Franco-Russian friendship at the time, the bridge was named after its founder, Alexander III, father of Tsar Nicholas II. At both ends and sides of the bridge, there is a huge stone pillar on each side, which is a bronzed knight statue, and the flying horses are very vivid and are excellent artwork. Every entrance of the bridge is erected with high horned pillars. The bridge is a group of aquatic flora and fauna patterns and a group of wreath patterns; on the bridge, the exquisite metal street lights add charm at night.

The bridge was built in 1896 and was founded by Russian Tsar Nicholas II. The bridge is named after his father Alexander III and symbolizes the Franco-Russian friendship represented by the Franco-Russian Union in 1891. • You will find a lot of details, with symbols of plants, flowers, animals and mysterious objects, such as fairy and little angels, Renaissance lanterns, wing horses at both ends, lamps on the bridge are supported by the little love god, and the moral sea-long image constitutes the theme of the bridge decoration. The bridge was engineered by Jean Resal and Amédée d'Alby, which opened at the 1900 World's Fair alongside the nearby Grand Palace and the Little Palace. The Alexander III bridge is listed as a historical monument.

Somehow having missed this bridge on previous visits, we made a point to visit it this time around and I am glad that we didThe bridge itself is very beautiful and offers great vistas over Seine. However the best part is after sunset when the bridge lights up and you can see lighted Eiffel as well from it. Worth visiting just for it even if you are not fan of architecture or history

Built in 1897, the Alexander III Bridge is an arch bridge across the Seine in Paris, France, connecting the Champs-Elysees area on the right bank and the Invalides and Eiffel Tower area on the left bank. It can be guessed by the name that this is to commemorate the formation of an alliance between France and Russia at the end of the nineteenth century. This is the most gorgeous bridge on the Seine. There are many exquisite carvings on the bridge, and the yellow lights will shine on the bridge after nightfall. The bridge of Alexander III has appeared many times in Paris postcards, film and television works, music MVs, such as Adele's music works.
