It's very beautiful but i expected something more, i don't know what, to be it bigger, or more detailed. So many times i've saw on tv, and i didn't realize i was there until i checked the GPS.

The square is centered on an ancient Egyptian obelisk, built in 1586 and on its current site. Gian Lorenzo Benini designed the square about 100 years later, including four deep giant Doric colonnades in the "Main Church". The granite fountain built by Benini in 1675 matches another fountain designed by Carlo Madeno in 1613.
