Taihuai Town, located at the northernmost end of Wutai County, Zhangzhou City, Shanxi Province, is a beautiful mountain town with nearly 2,000 people of Han, Man, Mongolia and Tibet, a mountain surrounded by water. Taihuai Town is located in the central hinterland of Wutai Mountain Scenic Area, northeast of Wutai County, from the north to the north of the Yedou Peak, west to the west of the hanging moon peak and Fanshi County, east to Taihang Mountain and the county Shizui Township is the boundary, south to the county Jingangku, Lingjing Township. The town government is located at an altitude of 1700 meters. The climate in the area is cold and humid, the average annual temperature is 4.5℃, the annual extreme minimum temperature is -37℃, the annual extreme maximum temperature is 27℃, and the annual extreme minimum temperature is -44.5℃. It is the coldest area in North China, known as the "North China Roof". The frost-free period of the year is 90-110 days, and the annual precipitation is 700-800 mm.
