住在附近，走五百米就到了东南门。进去就是桃花岛，春天来一定很美，夏天都是绿色。古建筑里是个庭院，弯弯绕绕，植被茂盛。非常清幽宁静，阴雨天约上三两好友，聊着天转一转是非常不错的选择。早上也有很多当地人在运动。

泉州西湖是一处挺不错的公园，距泉州古城不远，风景优美又免费，真的可以去这里游览哟。公园里的地标建筑是刺桐阁，还有桃花岛也挺不错。公园有游船可以乘坐，运气好还可以看到音乐喷泉和水幕电影。

泉州市区看水，去西湖公园是最佳选择，湖面大，风景好，不会挤，免门票，而且西湖公园内的桃花岛和刺桐阁也不错，附近还有闽台缘博物馆和泉州博物馆，距离开元寺西街也不远。
