Xiaojiang Ancestral House Review

Xiaojiang's main ancestral hall is only in the largest family hall except the Confucian Temple. This hall has a long history and can be traced back to Xiao He of the Han Dynasty, but the theme structure is built in recent decades, lacking a sense of historical vicissitudes.

In Jiangwan, Wuyuan, there is a large scale, high specifications of the hall, from the door stalls outside the door, to reach the national level, this is Xiaojiang Zongxu, this Xiao refers to the Han Dynasty name Xiao He, and then divides Jiang surname, so it is called Xiaojiang Zongxu.

Xiaojiang Dazongxu has a long history, can be traced back to the Han Dynasty Xiao He, Xiao He is the Han Dynasty auxiliary Liu Bang minister, once Xiao He Yue followed Han Xin's story, and later Xiao family has a branch into Jiang family, so called "Xiaojiang Dazongxuan".

Xiaojiang ancestral temple was built in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and is the first of the four ancient buildings in Wuyuan. It is famous for its exquisite sculpture and exquisite materials.
