Zheng's Ancestral Temple is located in Zhengcun Village, Zhengcun Town, Jixian County, Huangshan City. It is the ancestor of Zheng's family and was built in Mingchenghua (1466). It is built to commemorate the famous scholar and educator Zheng Yu (known as "Mr. Shishan") of the Yuan Dynasty. It has a history of more than 500 years. Zongxu covers an area of 1856 square meters, with a large scale and rich space levels. It is a typical Huizhou Corridor-style temple, and has become a national insurance unit. Originally, there were four temples in Zhengcun, and most of these ancient buildings were destroyed due to various historical reasons, especially the Taiping Heavenly Revolutionary War and the so-called "Cultural Revolution". Jimeitang was preserved as a township grain station at that time, that is, today's Zheng's Ancestral Temple. Zheng's Ancestral Hall is the oldest and largest in the existing ancient temple. The "Monument" says "belongs to the finest in Huizhou architecture", which is worthy of the name. By the way, the hall is not open to the public and is closed all year round. You need to contact the caregiver to visit.
