The grey, rainy day did not dampen the adventurous spirit of our group of eight from four different continents. Sturdy raincoats were available for all. Our hike through the forest identifying and gathering mushrooms was both delightful and informative. Jeff was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and all the various mushrooms. Jeff actually cooked the mushrooms we gathered along with a hearty lunch. The sun broke through as we hiked back for the smoke sauna. The sauna was outrageously hot and the lake plunge outrageously cold but to our surprise absolutely exhilarating! We are in our 70’s and found the "National Park Hike & Finnish Smoke Sauna Experience with Campfire Lunch" extraordinary! Thank you Jeff and Kiia, Carpe Diem!Trip.com picks
