Overall, I was very satisfied with the tour. Thank you to our guide, Lai, for his explanations throughout the trip, both before and after the attractions, and for sharing his insights into Japanese culture on the return journey. I added Lai on WeChat early on the day of departure, and he sent me pictures of the meeting point and the exact arrival time of the vehicle. The itinerary went smoothly. We had about 2.5 hours to explore Amanohashidate, and since we brought our own sandwiches for lunch, we had enough time. We had only 1 hour to visit the Ine Boat House, which felt a bit rushed; we just had a quick look around.★

🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate
1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
→ Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
→ Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
→ Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
→ Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
→ Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800).
→ Touch the "Manjushri Wisdom Wheel" and spin it three times; legend says it will make you smarter!★

Although the journey was long, it was still a very enjoyable trip. We took a bus from Osaka; the bus was very clean, and the driver was very friendly. The tour guide on the bus was very skilled, switching between Chinese and English to give a presentation, and his explanations were quite detailed. Since our tickets didn't include tickets, the tour guide even helped us buy them, so we didn't have to worry at all.★
