Overall it is definitely not cheap, but you can travel on trains around Europe as many times as you want during the period, flexible and convenient, especially for last minute travelers. Keep in mind in countries like Spain, Italy and France, the reservation fee is expensive and can add up quickly, so you need to plan ahead. Also, in most countries, the app cannot be used in the tickets gates automatically, and must seek help from staff. Hope they can improve it.

York by boat was a delightful and relaxing way to see the city and hear live commentary about historical aspects of the centre. The journey was about 45 minutes and the cruise was smooth although it was a windy day. Our group was able to capture pretty and scenic aspects from the river Ouse!

It was a nice walk in the city center. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. His stories are animated. The walk was just right in terms of distance and duration. There were many of us in the tour but it was very organized and our guide made sure we were fully engaged. This is a really nice way to spend the evening in York. I highly recommend.


