The camel riding tour around the pyramids was a very awesome experience! Is Saturday night with the slow ride going through the streets and residential area and then we got out into the sand dunes. It was a fun ride being in the desert with the pyramids in the background. I would really recommend doing this tour if you are in the area!★

First, be aware that tour companies don't contact you until the last minute. As a result, I had to cancel the tour I booked through Viator at the last minute and rebook through Trip.com. Regarding the items requiring payment on-site, the information listed on the website differed from what the tour company told me when I got there. Thanks to persistent negotiation and evidence, I was able to get the payment waived, but it's important to save the link and take screenshots. Other participants also had various issues, but the places we visited were amazing. It's important to consider these issues as a valuable part of traveling to Egypt and allow yourself time to enjoy the experience. If you can't afford it, I recommend a tour with a tour guide rather than a local tour. This tour involved meeting the guide at each ruin.★

Our flight from Cairo to Aswan was delayed by 7 hours. They kept updating the pick-up time in the group chat. In the end, they picked us up on time and didn't ask for tips. After experiencing various instances of unpunctuality from Egyptians, I'm so glad this company was punctual, didn't overcharge, and didn't ask for tips – that's rare! Their prices are fair. They created a group chat a few days in advance to inform the driver of the time and location, and even responded promptly due to the time difference. While there are overtime fees for chartered cars, they are reliable, truly reliable. This is incredibly valuable in Egypt. You can choose them with confidence.★

We booked the 4‑day/3‑night Nile River cruise through Trip.com, and our local agent was Fayrouz Egypt Travel Company, with Ahmed as our tour operator. He was excellent—communication was smooth, responses were always prompt, and he checked in with us at the end of each day to make sure everything was going well. We truly appreciated that level of care.
The tour price included the river cruise as well as guided visits to all the “must‑see” cultural and historical sites in Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor. We were especially delighted that the tour also included Abu Simbel Temples and a hot‑air balloon ride in Luxor.
All pick‑ups and drop‑offs were smooth and clearly communicated.
The local guides were very good—especially Ahmed Eltayeb in Luxor and Ahmed Awad in Aswan. Both were very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Our drivers, Mohamed (Luxor) and Said (Aswan), drove carefully and smoothly, and we felt very safe with them throughout the trip.
