The guide was a woman, and there were no other participants. She showed us the areas we could go, taught us how to paddle a kayak at the beginning, and then left us to it. Since it's a river, there's a current, so it might be quite hard for an average woman to paddle frequently to avoid being swept away. The guide joined a man in a kayak partway through, and we spent most of the activity at the edge of the river where the current was weaker. It's perfect for those who want to be left alone. There are lockers with locks, but I'm not sure how reliable they are. At the end, they give you a bottle of water. In any case, I think it's all within acceptable limits if you consider the improvements. Also, the entrance is very hard to find, so I think it would be good to have a more noticeable sign.
