It's perfectly fine to buy tickets online after arriving at Demachiyanagi Station. Simply show the QR code at the ticket window, and the staff will immediately understand and exchange it for a ticket; there's no need to worry about language barriers. You can easily buy tickets even without cash. However, the license plate you receive will be a paper quota.
