Reviews: 6-Hour Private Walking Tour of the Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City with Treasure Museums
Guest User2025-07-31
I had a great experience during my private walking tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Everything was taken care of by my guide, May Liu. May was knowledgeable about Chinese history and also adaptable to my pace and interests. I liked how I could customise the tour - where/when to stop for a break, what I wanted skip or add on. I highly recommend this tour for a fuss free experience!

Reviews: Beijing Temple of Heaven + Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests + Circular Mound Altar + Echo Wall - live guide

Today's trip to the Temple of Heaven was exceptionally satisfying! Our guide, Shang, provided professional and engaging commentary, sharing many fascinating historical and cultural facts that we don't usually hear about. He also led us on a thorough tour of the Temple of Heaven's cultural relics exhibition, from which we learned a great deal. Although the scenic area was crowded, our guide was incredibly patient throughout, maintaining a comfortable pace and taking meticulous care of our entire family. His attentive and thoughtful service made for a fantastic and very enjoyable and meaningful trip!
Reviews: [Summer Palace - Premium Guided Tour] In-depth commentary by guide / Morning session / Afternoon session / Private tour options available / Wireless headsets provided - Admission ticket not included
Guest User2025-09-22
Touring the Summer Palace with Professor Chen Yi, the "Top Scholar in Beijing," every scene becomes a vivid history lesson. Looking at the marble boat, Professor Chen explains how it embodies the ingenious design of Emperor Qianlong, who believed it could neither be submerged by water nor burned by fire. Gazing at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, she details the wondrous spectacle of "golden light piercing through the arches" during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Climbing the Tower of Buddhist Incense, she analyzes the architectural wisdom and imperial beliefs embedded in the layered buildings. Through Professor Chen's exposition, the ripples of Kunming Lake and the soaring eaves of the ancient buildings become a fingertip glimpse into Qing Dynasty history and garden art, transforming the visit into an immersive journey of cultural discovery.
Reviews: Prince Gong's Mansion half-day tour [Excluding admission ticket / 3-hour in-depth guided tour by Snail / One Prince Gong's Mansion, half of Qing Dynasty history / Includes headphones]

Director Wang's explanation of the history of Prince Gong's Mansion is profound, his knowledge is detailed and insightful, and his explanations are humorous and engaging. His catchy rhymes and easy-to-remember phrases make the weighty history vivid and easy to understand. I learned a lot and highly recommend him! He's so excellent, I had to take a close-up photo to praise him!
