The time was too short. We didn't arrive back in Osaka at the designated time (6:30 PM) as part of the program, and the driver and guide had already returned to Osaka at 5 PM! It was such a rush. We arrived at Kiyomizu-dera Temple at 12:35 PM and had to board the bus back to Osaka at 3:35 PM. We went to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, then to Gion, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple (3 hours with meals included). We also visited nearby areas, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple. A half-hour extra would have been perfect.★

On this trip, I was truly impressed by the kindness of our guide, Chuhong. He explained the entire itinerary in detail, and most importantly, I was able to follow the itinerary comfortably without being pressured.
Cheongsusa Temple, in particular, was a spectacular sight, with its clear, tranquil atmosphere and the temple blending seamlessly with nature. If you're traveling with children, I highly recommend Nara Deer Park. My elementary school student only remembers feeding the deer. Overall, it was a satisfying trip, and I highly recommend it to families.★

When traveling without wanting to plan ahead but still wanting to see the sights, signing up for a day tour is a hassle-free option. Based on Ctrip's reputation for reliable quality, I chose their day tour this time, and it was excellent. Our tour leader, Ms. Jiang, was incredibly helpful, from informing us of the meeting point before departure to providing directions at the end. She patiently explained each attraction, and I learned a great deal from her. A huge thank you to Ms. Jiang for treating us to delicious pudding at her own expense! My trip to Osaka was wonderful, and these memories will stay with me for a long time!★

Kyoto and Nara are must-see destinations on any Kansai trip. Every corner of Kyoto exudes elegance and Zen-like tranquility; in Nara, the ancient trees and gentle, bowing deer of Todai-ji Temple add a touch of dynamism to this ancient capital. It was a very enjoyable trip. Our guide, Xiao Tian, was very nice and provided excellent service, introducing attractions and offering suggestions for the itinerary. The other members of our group were also very punctual, and the atmosphere was wonderful.★

Traveling alone, I booked a day trip to Kyoto departing from Osaka. 😆 Our guide, ViVi, was very friendly and attentive, providing excellent explanations in both Chinese and English. There was plenty of time for sightseeing, making it a very fulfilling day. I have wonderful memories of Kyoto. 😊 The matcha ice cream 🍦 was so delicious! 🤤
