Day 1
Meet at meeting point: Meeting Point: on the road out of exit C of metro station Dong Zhi Men (东直门地铁站C口外).Attractions and Activities: Jinshanling Great Wall (Ticket included) ATTENTION: Pick-up point is out of exit C of subway station Dong Zhi Men of Line 2 &13 & PEK Airport Express. After the pick-up, you'll head for Jinshanling Great Wall directly. Driving for about 2 hours. You'll enter from east gate of Jinshanling Great Wall. After you get on the Great Wall, you need to walk along the Great Wall to the west, enjoying the sunset on the Great Wall and get down from the middle gate. The driver will see you enter from and east gate return to drive the car to the middle gate, waiting for you at a certain tower on the Great Wall. You're supposed to hike by yourself. It's easy because there is only one way going along the Great Wall. Each tower name is printed in English inside the tower. The total hiking is about 6-7 kilometers, in 3-4 hours. After the sunset, get down from the Great Wall and get picked up again at mid-gate. After the sunset, get down from the Great Wall from middle gate, and return to the city (back in the city at around 21:30-22:00). 3 hr(s)
