Decided to follow tour in Kyoto, as it's a weekend and near new year busy season. As expected, there were huge crowds at the touristy areas. Our guide Anna is very patient and doing her best to coordinate all the 42 guests in the tour. Not an easy task to move us in the huge crowds but she did it well. Also help us arrange lunch at nearby area, though bit pricey, but we get a full meal, which is helpful for a long journey. Our tour ended later than schedule likely due to the traffics. We didn't managed to visit Yasaka shrine; and by time reach Nara, deer food already sold out. But it's still exploring the area and the deer are friendly to us. There were few customers who arrived late and got into some arguments with our guide Anna, but I think she handled it patiently and allow our tour to proceed smoothly. Overall I think we had a fruitful day, despite the crowded situation. Perhaps going during weekdays would be a better experience.★

Kyoto and Nara are must-see destinations on any Kansai trip. Every corner of Kyoto exudes elegance and Zen-like tranquility; in Nara, the ancient trees and gentle, bowing deer of Todai-ji Temple add a touch of dynamism to this ancient capital. It was a very enjoyable trip. Our guide, Xiao Tian, was very nice and provided excellent service, introducing attractions and offering suggestions for the itinerary. The other members of our group were also very punctual, and the atmosphere was wonderful.★

The tour guide contacted very promptly, the route of the itinerary was reasonable, the choice of attractions was also very representative, very classic, and there was a suitable time to play after the attractions. When traveling without wanting to plan ahead but still wanting to see the sights, signing up for a day tour is a hassle-free option. Based on Ctrip's reputation for reliable quality, I chose their day tour this time, and it was excellent. Our tour leader, Ms. Jiang, was incredibly helpful, from informing us of the meeting point before departure to providing directions at the end. She patiently explained each attraction, and I learned a great deal from her. A huge thank you to Ms. Jiang for treating us to delicious pudding at her own expense! My trip to Osaka was wonderful, and these memories will stay with me for a long time!★

The time was too short. We didn't arrive back in Osaka at the designated time (6:30 PM) as part of the program, and the driver and guide had already returned to Osaka at 5 PM! It was such a rush. We arrived at Kiyomizu-dera Temple at 12:35 PM and had to board the bus back to Osaka at 3:35 PM. We went to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, then to Gion, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple (3 hours with meals included). We also visited nearby areas, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple. A half-hour extra would have been perfect.
