We recently used the shuttle bus service from Plaza Catalunya to the airport and were very pleased. The bus arrived on time, which was important given our flight. The cabin was clean and spacious, allowing us to sit comfortably. There were no delays along the way to the airport, and we arrived on time. Bigbus is a double-decker open-top bus. Sitting on the upper deck offers a panoramic 360-degree view of Madrid's cityscape. Along the way, you'll see many famous landmarks, such as the Prado Museum, Las Ventas Bullring, and Plaza de España. The bus offers live commentary in English and Spanish. The commentary is lively, engaging, and informative, not only introducing the historical background and cultural significance of each attraction but also sharing local anecdotes, deepening your understanding of Madrid. The bus operates on routes such as the Blue Line, covering Madrid's main attractions and districts. The stops are conveniently located, allowing passengers to hop on and off at their convenience and plan their itinerary freely. For example, you can get off at Puerta del Sol to experience the vibrant city center; or disembark at Atocha train station to visit the Reina Sofia Museum. Tickets are valid for 24 or 48 hours, allowing for multiple rides and stops at different stations, maximizing your independent travel experience. Great price, lower than through their website and in person, so definitely worth it! You have to still queue unfortunately to print your tickets, but after that you can go up in the cable cars and enjoy the beautiful views or Barcelona until you get to the citadel which is very scenic.


