How to use

Boarding Location: 5-1-1 Hamaotsu, Otsu, Shiga 520-0047

  • Please meet at the port 20 minutes before departure.
  • Please inform the ticket counter that you have a booking and provide your name.
  • After completing the check-in process, please wait in the lounge until boarding begins.
  • The boarding gate will open 10 minutes before departure.

Route 1: 9:40 AM Departure from Otsu Port ~ 10:40 AM Arrival at Otsu Port (60-minute cruise)

[Route 2] Depart from Otsu Port at 11:00 AM – Arrive at Otsu Port at 12:30 PM (90-min cruise)

[Route 3] Depart from Otsu Port at 1:00 PM – Arrive at Otsu Port at 2:30 PM (90-min cruise)

Route 4: 3:00 PM Departure from Otsu Port ~ 4:00 PM Arrival at Otsu Port (60-minute cruise)

Important Notes

  • Each adult can bring one infant for free. Additional infants will require a child boat ticket.
  • Do not bring food or drinks onboard.
  • Smoking is prohibited on board.
  • Visitors who booked in advance must also check in at the ticket counter on the day of the activity.
  • About luggage storage: Coin lockers are available in the waiting room at Otsu Port. Please feel free to use them.
  • <Wheelchair users> Otsu Port Pier has two accessible restrooms.
  • Bicycles are not allowed on board.
  • Free Wi-Fi is available on board (Lake Biwa free Wi-Fi). Please understand that connection difficulties may occur due to the route, signal conditions, and other factors.
  • Due to reasons such as chartering or activity-related boat usage, the Michigan sightseeing cruise may temporarily operate using the BIANCA or other sightseeing boats.
  • Sailing is normal in rainy weather, but the content of some sightseeing cruises may change or be canceled in severe weather such as strong winds and high waves.

Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 11:59 AM, 1 day(s) prior to the date of use, no cancellation fee will be charged.
A fee of 50% will be charged for cancellations requested before 12:00 AM on the day of date of use.
A fee of 100% will be charged for cancellations requested after 12:00 AM on the day of date of use.
Cancellation is not allowed after activation or reservation.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
