This half-day tour was booked on short notice; I booked it as soon as I landed in Da Nang that morning, and we departed promptly at 1:30 PM. Although it was only half a day, we visited quite a few places. First, we went to Son Tra Peninsula, where the sea view from the mountain was quite nice; taking a taxi would have cost a lot. Then we went to Marble Mountains, which are mainly caves and not very high. The English-speaking guide had a heavy Southeast Asian accent, but it was still understandable, and he was very enthusiastic, leading us through the entire tour. Next, we went to Hoi An. It felt quite late when we arrived, so after dinner, we only had a little over an hour left to explore, just enough for taking photos. However, the fellow travelers we met along the way were all very interesting; we helped each other, chatted, and took photos, making it a fun and memorable trip.★

It was an interesting trip - I was really amused by the beauty of Marble Mountains and Hoi An during the night time with the magical atmosphere of the lights. It was active as well which I like. However, I felt like it was a bit too rushed. It would be valuable to have time to really enjoy both places. Also, I would also appreciate it if the tour guide could share more information about both places. But overall I had really good time.★

An hour’s drive to Hoi An was an unforgettable experience. The town is a fascinating blend of Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese culture, steeped in history. We loved strolling through the streets and exploring its many attractions. One highlight was the coconut boat ride—our boatman serenaded us with the classic song The Bund, instantly transporting us back to the 80s. It was both nostalgic and hilarious! Later, we visited the Lantern Canal, where we released paper lanterns with candles, adding a magical glow to the evening. Our guide, Bach, was truly amazing. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and made the tour engaging for both adults and children. His professionalism and warm personality added so much value to our trip.
I would definitely suggest Bach for anyone looking for a private tour memorable and comfortable travel experience.

A trip to Da Nang is incomplete without visiting Ba Na Hills. Unfortunately, the only minor disappointment was the foggy, windy, and rainy weather on the day we visited. However, this didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of all the attractions. Our local guide, Ms. Hong, was professional, attentive, and arranged the itinerary well. Special praise goes to the lunch – it was incredibly delicious, and everyone we met complimented it! This trip is highly recommended!★

The tour guide was very enthusiastic. Despite the hot weather, he led us around and explained everything. The entire group consisted of Russians, Chinese, and Japanese; none of them spoke English as their native language. The guide's English also had a strong Southeast Asian accent, so many of us struggled to understand, but he patiently explained everything. We visited three places in one day, each with its own unique features. First, we saw a lake, which was even more beautiful than I expected in photos. Then we went to the mausoleum, where we learned about the history, which was quite interesting. Finally, we visited the Imperial City, where the guide provided the most detailed explanation, leading us through about two-thirds of the area. Everyone we met along the way was also very friendly, helping each other and chatting—it was a memorable experience. I hope the tour can have a Chinese-speaking guide in the future.
