I’m traveling alone. So, safety is very important for me. I’ve felt very safe and comfortable. Driving by tuk-tuk is really interesting experience! I’ve visited many beautiful places. I’ve gotten to know with local people’s life and the city.
My guide helped me with it. He gave to me the basic information in English and answered my questions.

We were picked up from our ship, and had a fabulous day in Colombo, with so much to see and do, it was a small bus of around 12 people and our driver and guide were happy for to request photos stops as needed. Brilliant day, with many happy memories to take home to NZ ( we have suggested that the correspondence via whatsapp should you know to make your way out to the main terminal gates, as we wasted a bit of time to work this out, ended up phoning the whatspp number when couldn't find the group)★

This was a great tour and my guide Vidu was excellent. This is a great trip to take when in Colombo to see some of Sri Lanka outside of the capital city. There are a lot of different activities offered on this tour and Vidu did an amazing job of telling me about all the options and letting me decide what I wanted to do the most. Vidu is also a great driver, which is very important because Sri Lanka traffic is pretty intense, but I was able to just relax and look at scenery with Vidu driving. I would say that you will interact with lots of people on this tour, like boat drivers, farmers, hatchery workers, waiters, etc. While certainly not required to tip everyone, I wish that I would have had a bit more cash with me on this tour so that I could tip all of the hard working people that helped show me a little bit of their wonderful country.
