Great fun! From the welcome we received to our amazing (and hilarious) boat drivers this tour was well above what we expected. What took a little to get our heads around was the contrast between the beautiful coconut plantations and the masses of tourists bobbing in the water with gangnam style blasting out down the river. It was certainly an experience.

This kayaking tour up the river was amazing. We kayaked through the coconut palms next to a collection of friendly dogs. We then continued up the river and watched the sun set as we approached old town. We have kayaked before so this was very enjoyable for us. We really appreciated being picked up and dropped back at our accommodation. This was our favourite thing we did in Hoi An. It was so peaceful on the water. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Hoi An. I am sure it is just as beautiful at sunrise as well.

I kicked off 2026 with a day trip to My Son and Hoi An from Danang. This is a private and personalised day trip. Mr Vinh, my friendly and knowledgeable tour buddy, guided me through the history, key highlights and lesser-known facts for both places. He is also extremely pleasant and accommodating, ensuring the tour is tailored to my travel style. We started at 11 am, and Mr Hung (responsible for driving us) turned up on time with Mr Vinh. We visited My Son and proceeded to Hoi An, just in time for lunch. We spent the afternoon enjoying the city from noon until evening, just in time to see Hoi An come to life with the spectacular lanterns on full display. The trip felt easy, safe and very enjoyable. Mr Hung drove us back to Da Nang safely at 7:30 pm. A special thank you to Ms Gia Linh, the travel expert who made it all happen.

We arrived at the Da Nang bus station from Nha Trang in a sleeper bus in the morning. We were picked up from the bus station. The operator kept in touch via WhatsApp the entire time. There was no fear of anything going wrong; everything was meticulously organized. We were greeted very warmly. The driver drove smoothly the entire way, without any sudden stops or accelerations. Our guide was very nice, friendly, and attentive to the tourists. The entire program was in English; my husband speaks some English, so I had no worries. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. When we climbed to the Golden Bridge, there was heavy cloud cover, making the scenery magical. Before the climb, we bought raincoats, and this saved us from the downpour, as after a while it became windy and poured with rain. There were a lot of people by the bridge, as it is the calling card of Da Nang. Then we strolled through the gardens. Don't forget to grab a free beer flyer; some people even get 10 of them. The draft beer is the best. We absolutely loved it.
