It was my first time at Ho Chi Minh City airport, and I wasn't sure how crowded it would be, but I decided to try buying a ticket. I was relieved to see a staff member holding a sign as soon as I got off the plane. I was able to enter the country in less than 10 minutes, so in the end, I'm glad I bought it. However, I did have to wait to collect my checked baggage, so it might be better suited for those traveling with children or those who don't want to wait in line.

I liked the service; they were always available. I saw the sign as soon as I approached the line before the customs checkpoint. The typical wait time in the line during lunch on a weekday would have been about 10 minutes, but while I was waiting for someone ahead of me with a fast pass, the line lengthened by about 40 minutes.

Great option: they send photos on WhatsApp showing where to wait for them. Then they come for you and take you straight through. The whole thing took literally 5 minutes (passport control). I still recommend buying a fast track ticket in Cam Ranh upon arrival. Especially if you're arriving in the morning. After a 10-hour flight, it was pure hell standing at passport control for 1.5-2 hours.


