The tour with our guide Linda has been fantastic. She was overflowing with energy and her stories about the Forbidden City were incredible. She made sure that we felt okay and that we were understanding everything at all times. Then came the great wall visit, where se took care of all the transportation, then told us stories on the bus microphone while getting there. She let us fully enjoy the visit and suggested different routes based on how we were feeling and our level of fitness. I normally don’t book tours with guides, but Linda truly allowed us to live an amazing experience.★

I only decided to book this trip at short notice but, nevertheless, we were picked up from our hotel’s lobby the next morning by Gary and driven around in a clean, air conditioned car. The driver was very nice and bottled water had been provided in the back. We got to the Square and Forbidden City very early so were able to see more than I have before. I was also able to learn more about the Forbidden City than on a previous trip as I could actually hear our guide. The Mutiyanu Wall was a brilliant experience - especially going up in the open cable car (seats 2) and coming down on the taboggan. I would recommend it to anyone! This was followed by a tea experience and seeing the Birds Nest. In my opinion, the first 2 were more than enough. Gary was polite and even walked slowly to accommodate my short legs. It was pleasant weather and I am pleased with the experience we had.
