Reviews: Caye Caulker Sailing with Snorkeling Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley

What an awesome experience! I definitely recommend! We did the Hol Chan Snorkeling + Shark Ray Alley + Caye Caulker trip and my entire group had a wonderful day but don't expect to get the boat to yourselves if you have a big group. If you have a big group and there's availability, I'd recommend booking a private trip through Xsite. Bring a good Hydroflask or metal tumbler cup, towels, and lots of sunscreen! 🟢 Good experiences: • The snorkeling at Hol Chan was definitely the highlight. We got pretty lucky and got to see dolphins, green sea turtles, eagle rays, sting rays, and tons of beautiful fish. • They had plenty of rum punch to go around for the entire day and poured generously! (They always make sure your cup is full regardless of the size, so bring a big insulated metal cup!) • Plenty of beer, sodas, and water. • Caye Caulker was awesome as well and we had some great food, but there was a bit of a wait. You definitely gotta get a pitcher of green lizard juice to hold you over! (I know it sounds gross but it's not.) • The day we went was perfect and it was a super smooth ride. • If you're going as a couple and want to meet a lot of people while booze cruisin', then this is a good trip to take since basically our entire boat was filled with ages 20-40. 🟠 Not so good experiences: • We had a group of 13 people and expected to basically have the boat to ourselves, because on *** (the app we booked through) we could only book up to 15 adults, so we assumed incorrectly that there were only 15-20 spots on each boat. But anyways, there ended up being about 12 others on the boat (excluding the 4 or 5 crew members). So it was a bit crowded and there wasn't very much room on the nets towards the front of the boat that let you sit over the water. Also there weren't a whole lot of padded seats, bean bag chairs, and actual chairs on the deck. • They should have some more cushions/bean bags or chairs on the boat if it's gonna be crowded. A couple people from my group basically stood or had to sit on the hard deck of the ship the whole day, which they said got uncomfortable after a bit.
Reviews: Ambergris Caye Sunset Sail Tour on the 40' Sirena Azul Sailboat

This was our second sunset sail with this crew and they did not disappoint. The sun actually set a little later than usual but they kept us out longer on the boat which was great with us. The crew was fantastic and we had great company.

It was a nice small boat for a more intimate experience. We got lucky with gorgeous weather and a beautiful sunset. The boat goes nice and slow and you get to enjoy the before, during and after of the sunset. The staff were kind and informative. They had fun tiki glasses and straws you got to choose. Once it was dark it had fun lights on it and below water. It was a lovely experience on our last night on the island!

Albert was outstanding! He shared his knowledge with is very willingly, we had a great discussion taking the history and often comparing it to modern culture. A really nice guy too. Will definitely want to work with him again.
