Reviews: Beijing: Jinshanling Great Wall Daily Bus Tour with Options [Join-in Group and Small Group] Departing at 7:30AM

We found this tour great! The bus starts early morning and takes about 2,5 hours to get to Jinshanling. A short shuttle bus service from the ticket gate to a souvenir selling area was included, however not all the way up to the wall, which some other tourists outside our tour took. The hike is quite hard, the wall goes up and down steeply and many times. We had a great guide, who took good care of all our group members and explained clearly the timeline and itinerary of the day. Our group reached the east gate to catch our bus back to Beijing at around 14:30. The way back to Beijing takes a bit longer due to evening traffic. We reached Beijing a bit before 6pm, which was great considering other tours might arrive late at night.

It was a perfect day at the Chinese Wall. Not many people and perfect spot. Jimmy, our guide, helped us also the next days by arranging things etc. Thabks again for everything

The tour includes round-trip transportation (which is best arranged in advance), and they explain how to access the city walls and the entrance process. They provide transportation to the entrance, where you can have lunch on your own, or in our case, we brought our own food. Once at the top of the walls, we took some time to eat and relax, as they give you plenty of time to explore the beautiful walls on your own. On the way back, they make a stop in another town; you can enter for a fee if you wish, or wait outside. From there, you can see the walls illuminated at night. For us, the tour was exactly what we expected and very reasonably priced compared to other tours. Susy was very friendly and attentive to the pickup.

My driver was Naomi. She was right on time and had food and snacks available in the car. When I was finished exploring the wall, she was waiting for me down at the base and took me back to my hotel. Overall she was friendly, an excellent driver, and made the trip very smooth. I received exactly what I had hoped for. Highly recommend.
