We participated in a tour of Shirakawa-go and Kanazawa city. Everyone else was from overseas, but the guide explained things to us in both English and Japanese, so we had no trouble. We especially enjoyed the detailed explanations of the culture and history at each tourist spot, which helped us deepen our knowledge. I would like to participate in another tour next time.★

What you need: A cell phone with a working SIM card. How to use: At the Takayama Bus Center, line up directly at the gate for Shirakawago. When the staff member walks around to check your ticket, click on the voucher, then click the link to show it. When boarding begins, click “Use” on the screen that appears after clicking the link, then click “Confirm” and board the bus. The line to buy tickets at the bus center is very long, but being able to line up right away is very useful.★
