We had an excellent experience on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Our guide, Yasushi, was especially great—very friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the entire day. He made the history and culture come alive with interesting stories and insights, and he was always happy to answer questions. The tour itself was a perfect combination of beautiful scenery and cultural highlights. Visiting the traditional village of Shirakawa-go was truly memorable, with its unique architecture and peaceful atmosphere. Kanazawa was also fascinating, offering a great mix of history, gardens, and local charm. Overall, it was a well-organized, enjoyable, and enriching experience. Thank you, Yasushi, for making it so special!★

I really recommend this days trip from Nagoya. Takayama's old town was stunning (and the Hida beef lunch is a must), while Shirakawa-go felt like walking through a fairytale. Huge thanks to our guide, Xiaoyu! She was wonderful- super organized and shared great local insights without being overbearing. She kept everything running smoothly and made the whole day feel easy and personal. If you want a stress-free way to see the Japanese Alps, this is it. A perfect day trip that didn't feel rushed!★

Was an excellent day trip to shirakawa-go. The heritage village is very pretty and nice to walk around. The bus there and back was also easy, but do head to bus station at least 20mins mins before as the bus can get pretty full, esp the bus back to Takayama.★
