I booked a group tour through Ctrip, which was very convenient. The meeting point was right at one of the exits of Nagoya Station. The tour guide took attendance and assigned seats. The guide gave a brief introduction to the attractions and then distributed a map. I had heard about Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri Village from colleagues; it was said to be very beautiful, especially in winter after a snowfall. Although I went on October 7th, the scenery was still stunning. I never imagined there would be such a beautiful village deep in the mountains. There weren't too many tourists, and everyone strolled happily and comfortably through the village.★

The driver arrived at the hotel on time that morning to pick us up. The vehicle was a 9-seater, and the cabin was clean and tidy. The driver, who also acted as our guide, gave a brief introduction at each attraction before we had free time. We met up on time for the next attraction. The time was a bit tight; more time would have been better. Thank you so much to the driver! 🙏🏼Trip.com picks
