We were a family group of 8 and we toured with Stuart, who picked us up in a van from our hotel for a day tour of various Highland locations. What a fantastic day with a customized tour. Stuart was so knowledgeable of the local area and provided us with an outstanding day tour of so many different sites. I would highly recommend this tour if you are in the Inverness area!
Reviews: 1-day tour of St Andrews Cathedral + Old Course + Fife Coast | Medieval University Town

I highly recommend this tour because the driver also acts as a guide and is so cheerful and friendly. They give you ample time to freely explore beautiful St. Andrews, and I came back with wonderful memories of visiting places like the birthplace of the real-life model for Robinson Crusoe, the Forth Bridge, and the filming location of Outlander.

The distillery tour was wonderful!! Cawdor castle, wish we had more time there. It was crowded and slow going through the castle rooms. Did not get to see much of the garden. Urquhart Castle very pretty. We didn’t go in, walked along the road and got some nice pictures of the castle and Loch Ness.

A truly outstanding tour. An extremely friendly and knowledgeable gentleman drove us to beautiful spots. We had incredible weather for October. You learn a great deal about Scotland during the drive. You do need a fairly advanced understanding of English to absorb everything. At times, I even felt the amount of information was a bit overwhelming. The route was adjusted slightly in places. Plenty of time is given for photos and everything else. So, excellent!
Reviews: Discovering Inverness: A Self-Guided Audio Tour of the Capital of the Highlands

The tour was a little tricky to access at first, but that may well have been me. Once we did have access, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Inverness. The tour could be paused and played at our pace. The directions were easy to follow, and there were plenty of little anecdotes along the journey to keep us entertained. The route kept close to the 2 sides of the river, and was a modest length - neither too long or too short - taking in some lovely buildings and parkland. A great way to get a taste of the city.
