Would highly recommend this tour as Mr J is a great guide - lively, friendly and a source of excellent information and anecdotes about Japanese history and how it relates to what he shows you on the walk. We were lucky enough to have a very small group so almost one to one but would work well with larger group. Saw a great deal on the way and the finale (end location is different to start) is quite special.★

This was such a brilliant activity to do; we gathered in Mr, Yuya’s workshop in the afternoon where he had set out a station with clay for all the participants. He patiently talked us through each of the many steps of making the figure, advising how to manipulate the clay and craft all the various pieces. The pace of the class was really good and we all focussed quite hard on getting all the pieces just right and putting them together step by step. The joy of getting to the end and having the figure completed was overwhelming! Once the figures dries he offered to send this via parcel for a modest additional postage fee. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this activity! The host was really lovely and friendly and we had a nice chat as we were making the figures too.★

A big thumbs up to Uncle Big Head on WeChat on February 24th! He provided clear information, location, and photos in advance, and was very enthusiastic and meticulous in replying to questions and offering helpful reminders. His driving was very smooth and safe, and the itinerary and arrangement of the three attractions were well-planned. His descriptions of the attractions and restaurants were concise. All three attractions are traditional and representative, rich in local culture and history. Uncle Big Head deserves high praise for his itinerary planning.★

I signed up for a tour because I wanted to go on a day trip to Kyoto and Nara with my mom! Our guide, Kim Mi-hyang, was with us, and it was wonderful! I definitely want to recommend her haha. She shared lots of interesting facts and was very kind! She also recommended several great restaurants, which was the best haha. Both my mom and I were extremely satisfied!★
