Note that it's more expensive to buy on trip.com vs buying on the counter itself but it might be more convenient given it's denominated in local currency. It's very worth it to buy the card since the attractions covered more than offset the cost of the card. Note you need to go tourist info counter to collect the salzburg card which will be activated only after you visited your first attraction

It's actually 2 separate tours and after the Halstatt tour, you return to Salzburg for the Sound of Music tour, which is why it's 10 hours long! If they could combine the tours, it would probably only be 8 hours long at most. Other than this, the tour was absolutely beautiful. The guides are very knowledgeable and sooooo friendly. Really made the tour memorable!
