Reviews: Chiang Mai: Doi Inthanon National Park Sightseeing Tour

The tour itself is good. Unfortunately, we didn't go to the highest point and the pagodas first. Clouds rolled in during the afternoon, so there was no view. In the morning, we visited the two waterfalls (definitely bring a rain jacket or a towel, as the spray at the first waterfall is like a shower), and enjoyed a coffee and tea tasting in the village of the White Karen (this was entertaining, albeit very touristy). Lunch was okay (nothing special). Then we finally went up the mountain. The pagodas are worth seeing and beautifully designed. On the way back, we stopped at the Hmong market, where you could buy some things. However, I think a 30-minute stop is too long when everyone just wants to get back.

the guide Tae was been extremely helpful and informative. She loves her job, very kind and friendly. It worth the time, if you can book it and ask for Tae guide.

Amazing tour – highly recommended! The trip to Doi Inthanon and the Elephant Sanctuary was one of the best experiences we had in Chiang Mai. The tour was very well organized, with a perfect mix of nature, culture, and unforgettable scenery. Visiting Thailand’s highest mountain and the beautiful waterfalls was truly special. The elephant sanctuary was a highlight—ethical, respectful, and clearly focused on the well-being of the elephants. It was touching to see how well they are cared for. Our guide Apo was absolutely wonderful. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and full of positive energy. Apo explained everything clearly, shared interesting local insights, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and happy throughout the day. An unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai—especially if Apo is your guide!

Overall a great day. Comfortable van to the park. Our guide was very good. The places visited were all interesting, and or beautiful. A great value. A delicious Karin luncheon was included.

It was a lovely day! We got to do so much through this tour and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As a heads up, the roads can have winding turns so make sure to take some motion sickness meds if you get car sick! Aside from that, great experience!

The entire trip was fantastic. The tour guide was very thoughtful; although the Chinese tours were full, I ended up on an English tour, but they still explained things to me in Chinese the whole way! The customer service was also very helpful; I asked my friend to book online, and they assisted us in joining the same tour group! In short, the trip was very enjoyable, and we had plenty of time to truly appreciate the sights. 😊😊
