Reviews: Maui: Halfway to Hana Black Sand Beach & Turtles Tour

It was fine. Lots of driving on mountainous switchbacks, so if that will make you car sick, this wouldn’t be for you. We were in an 8 pax van, and for our trip it was 5 plus the driver. If we’d had another 2 pax, we would’ve been smooshed in uncomfortably. Driver talked incessantly, some helpful, some just chatter. The black sand beach is a really rocky area that isn’t conducive for getting in the water. All the stops were good, just not amazing. I am not at all unhappy to do the partial trip to Hanna because this shows you everything without it being too long of a day.

The trip was amazing!! It was our first time on the road to Hana and we didn’t want to do it on our own. Marty was experienced, hospitable, informative and very focused on us having a good time. He was very accommodating and we felt very safe with him. Everything was so beautiful!!! We are so glad we went with Aloha Eco Adventures.

Sean was a fantastic guide. He set off the day right by taking us to a small local coffee shop. Throughout the day he had a lot of great info an so excellent lunch recommendations. This is a small group tour a you get to see quite a bit. 10/10
