Nostalgic Osaka, walk in totally different from Dotonbori

This is 2hrs walking tour in Karahori area.

You can find different face of Osaka in here, Karahori . Here keeps nostalgic and old Osaka and you can feel Osaka daily life with local guide, me.

Karahori area is 3-stations away from Nanba, the busiest down town. But atmosphere is totally different because Karahori area survived from fire of the World War II.

In Karahori, there are still remain old traditional mercantile houses (100- 200 years old) and hidden alleys like maze. And ruin of Osaka Castle moat of 15D is hidden in alley.
Some alleys are private but without indication, some are available to walk in. The guide is local and grasp the area map well. She guides you alleys we can walk in.

Overall the tour schedule
- Go through local market street.
- Get into off the beaten paths that are not on guidebook.
- Visit hidden shops (select shop, café)
- Visit Japanese Tatami mat shop.
- Visit ruin of castle moat without water and tiny shrines.

In traditional mercantile houses, some are still have habitats but some are remodeled into café/cute shops. Charming café/shop suddenly appears between old traditional mercantile houses.
If you want to take rest, I guide you to cozy cafes, yummy restaurants etc. You can enjoy not only sightseeing but also yummy foods (you need pay your meal expense).

*One notes :Pls. do NOT disturb inhabits during hidden paths walking. Granpa and granma still live in here.
