The hotel is very close to Rome Termini train station. There's a Chinese restaurant next door called Wangxianglou (or something similar), their boiled beef is pretty good. There's also a motorcycle rental shop; I have a license, so I rented a Vespa for 3 hours for 45 euros, it was a lot of fun.
The hotel is typical European style, the rooms are quite small, and the elevator is especially small. But the facilities are decent, and the cleanliness is acceptable.★

The crowds outside were intense, but we walked straight in thanks to our reserved entry. Inside, our guide made the massive collection manageable and fascinating. Seeing the Sistine Chapel with fresh eyes and context was a highlight of our entire trip. Worth every cent.★
