Wow. Go back in time and see where the Emperors lived in the past. A vast place with room for 100 football fields.

Visited Tianamen Square, learnt about the political history of Chkna. The Forbidden City is a massive complex of stunning architecture. Mubus our tour guide was super helpful and shared so much knowledge about China's history and the emperors. It was insightful. It is best to book your tickets at least 2 days in advance. It can get very busy with lots of tour groups in site. Be prepared to walk alot. Worth the visit to learn about part if China's history.

This was so well organised and efficient. The company explained everything about the trip to the wall so clear. I had the best time. The great wall is so great!!!!!! If you have the time and energy walk from the bottom it it so peaceful and for the first hour it was just me on the wall (there is a lot of steps though!). I will remember it forever.

A reservation is required. You won't be allowed in without one. They check you very thoroughly; I've never experienced such a search before 😂. We were there in January, but they even lifted our shirts, pants, and even checked our socks. They checked every piece of paper in our backpacks and bags. They even checked the children. But we were lucky with the line (I think thanks to the child). We were sent from the general line and another mother with two small children to the next line. We were first, then they followed. The woman was Chinese, but even she was very shocked by my search. We smiled at her. They checked me longer than my husband. You must have your passport with you; they won't let you in without it. They scan your passport and take photos of adults.


