Visited Tianamen Square, learnt about the political history of Chkna. The Forbidden City is a massive complex of stunning architecture. Mubus our tour guide was super helpful and shared so much knowledge about China's history and the emperors. It was insightful. It is best to book your tickets at least 2 days in advance. It can get very busy with lots of tour groups in site. Be prepared to walk alot. Worth the visit to learn about part if China's history.★

Excellent and informative tour around the Summer Palace and its gardens.
Susan was an excellent guide, lots of great information and all very clear.
Would highly recommend this tour to give you the history of this great palace and its gardens. To note, lots of walking and it’s 200 steps up if you want to go to the highest point. If you can face the steps do it as the views from the top are stunning!★

A reservation is required. You won't be allowed in without one. They check you very thoroughly; I've never experienced such a search before 😂. We were there in January, but they even lifted our shirts, pants, and even checked our socks. They checked every piece of paper in our backpacks and bags. They even checked the children. But we were lucky with the line (I think thanks to the child). We were sent from the general line and another mother with two small children to the next line. We were first, then they followed. The woman was Chinese, but even she was very shocked by my search. We smiled at her. They checked me longer than my husband. You must have your passport with you; they won't let you in without it. They scan your passport and take photos of adults.★
