This was a fantastic tour! Simona was so knowledgeable & great to spend time with. She really engaged us and connected on a personal level. We learned so much that we wouldn’t have been able to on our own. And the food & wine were absolutely delicious!! Wow!! It kept getting better & better. We couldn’t have lucked out with a better guide! We are so glad we took this tour and couldn’t recommend it more!

The guide made this experience. We had six food stops.. Each with a different aspect of Slovenian food and wine culture. The final stop was my favourite, dessert with a view over the city. The guide made all the details of the tour really come alive rather than just spouting facts, and is an absolutely lovely person to spend the afternoon with!

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Anna struck the perfect balance between deep knowledge and great energy, making the whole session both informative and genuinely fun. She read the group brilliantly. We all clicked straight away, which made it even more enjoyable. I came away having learned a huge amount about Slovenian wines, especially from my favourite region, around the coast, which really stood out. Now the challenge is tracking some down back home! Thoroughly recommend.


