Urumqi Day Tour: Encounter Nanshan Ranch & Shenbulake Waterfall Day Trip
In the morning, we departed from downtown Urumqi, heading to our first stop, Nanshan Ranch. Stepping into Nanshan Ranch felt like entering a breathtaking natural painting. Across the vast, endless grasslands, lush vegetation nourished herds of cattle and sheep grazing leisurely, while snow-capped mountains stretched into the distance, shimmering with silver brilliance under the sunlight. Here, visitors can truly experience the simple lifestyle of Kazakh herders and even opt for horseback riding at their own expense, galloping freely across the grasslands to embrace the exhilarating sense of liberation.
Next, head to Wulasitai Grassland. This pristine alpine meadow will leave you in awe with its breathtaking scenery that seamlessly blends with the azure sky. Across the boundless grassland, wildflowers bloom vibrantly in a riot of colors. As the breeze sweeps through, the undulating grass resembles nature's own symphony. Visitors can stroll here, breathing in the fresh air while embracing the tranquility and serenity of nature.
After lunch, we arrived at the final stop of our journey—the Shenbulake Waterfall in the Nanshan West Poplar Gully Scenic Area. The Shenbulake Waterfall resembles a colossal silver dragon, cascading down the steep cliffs with splashing water that resembles mist and smoke. The thunderous roar of the waterfall is deafening, as if nature itself is roaring. Standing before the waterfall, visitors can feel its majestic momentum and boundless power, experiencing a profound cleansing of both body and mind.
